The Ryman XC-808M Cross-Cut Shredder is a highly rated shredder, suitable for home or small office use. It can shred up to 8 sheets of paper at a time and shreds them into small 4 x 18mm unreadable pieces. This gives it a P-4 security rating, meaning it is suitable for shredding highly confidential documents (n.b. this shredder is rated DIN 3 under the previous DIN 32757 categorisation).
In addition to paper you can also shred staples, credit cards and CDs with this shredder. The CD shredding slot is separate from the paper entry slot and even has its own waste compartment to keep the CD waste separate - very handy for recycling purposes. The shredder has a decent sized 21 litre main mesh bin which is see-through, so you can easily see when it needs to be emptied.
The Ryman XC-808M Shredder has a throat width of 220mm so will happily take A4 sheets - and it has a 2 minute continuous run time with 30 minutes cool down. There is also a reverse button to help clear any potential paper jams.
