The Fellowes AutoMax 500C is a cross-cut shredder which automatically shreds up to 500 sheets at a time into 4 x 38mm particles. It has a P-4 security rating, meaning it is suitable for shredding highly confidential documents.
Built for the business environment and 5+ users, the AutoMax 500C enables you to load up to 500 sheets of paper, lock the drawer (to keep your shredding secure) and walk away! The shredder can shred 500 sheets in just 12 minutes, making the job of shredding much easier. It can also take staples and paper clips so there is no need to have to spend a long time preparing the documents.
In addition to the SureFeed auto-shred functionality, the shredder also has the following features: SmartLock to ensure confidential documents cannot be accessed from the shredder whilst in operation, JamGuard to help prevent paper jams, Sleep Mode which switches the shredder to standby mode after 2 minutes of inactivity; 30, 60 and 90 minute delay options for starting your shredding job; and SilentShred to minimise noise in the working environment.
