The ProAction 5 Sheet 18 Litre Cross-Cut Shredder is ideal for use in the home. The shredder shreds your documents and old receipts into pieces measuring 4 x 40mm, which gives it a P-4 security rating and makes it suitable for the shredding of highly confidential material.
The shredder’s throat width is 220mm, for all your A4 paper shredding needs and the machine also comes with auto start/stop, off button and a reverse function to help clear any potential paper jams. There is also a safety system in place which means if the head and waste bin are not correctly aligned, the shredder won’t function.
Due to the mesh design it’s easy to see when the waste bin is full - you can then simply remove the head to empty it.
In addition, the shredder will switch off automatically if it overheats (n.b. you can continuously shred for around 2 minutes before this happens). The motor will then require approximately 30 minutes to cool down, before you can resume shredding.
Manufacturer’s warranty on the shredder is 1 year.
