The Rexel Mercury RSS2030 is ideal for a small office environment with up to 10 users. It is a strip-cut shredder capable of shredding up to 21 x 70gsm sheets of paper into 5.8mm strips. This gives it a P-2 DIN security rating, so it’s suitable for everyday rather than confidential shredding.
This shredder shreds a range of material including both CDs and credit cards. It features a 30 litre waste bin which can fit up to 220 shredded sheets of paper. Recyclable shredder bags can also be used with this machine.
Other features of the RSS2030 include: Mercury Jam-Free Technology whereby the shredder only shreds stacks of paper within its sheet capacity limit; power saving auto-shut down if the shredder is inactive for more than two minutes; an auto-stop safety feature if the shredder door is opened during operation; and an overheat indicator to show that the shredder needs to be left to cool down.
