The 5 Star CC16 Cross-Cut Shredder is a desk-side shredder cable of shredding up to 16 sheets of paper at a time. It has a P-4 security level rating so is suitable for highly confidential document shredding (e.g. the shredding of bank statements).
Paper is shredded into small confetti-sized particles measuring 4 x 40mm and the shredder will also get through staples and paperclips, great if you want to save yourself the time of having to remove these prior to shredding. The shredder will even shred credit cards too.
Bin capacity is 20 litres and the shredder comes with a number of other features including: a 225mm throat width; overheat protection whereby the shredder will stop operating if it gets too hot (you then wait for 30 minutes until it cools down); automatic cut-out in the event of a paper jam, allowing you to switch it to reverse to try and resolve the jam; a safety mechanism whereby the shredder won’t operate if the waste door is open; and mounted wheels for easy portability.
Warranty for the 5 Star CC16 Cross-Cut Shredder is 1 year for the machine and 2 years for the cutting blades.
