Shredding up to 18 sheets of 70gsm paper at a time, the Ativa AT-18XN Cross-Cut Shredder is ideal for use in small to medium sized offices. With a very low noise output of just 58 dB, it also helps to ensure minimal noise disruption in your shared work space.
The shredder shreds A4 documents into cross-cut pieces measuring 4mm x 35mm, giving it a P-3 DIN security rating. This makes it suitable for confidential document shredding.
The easy to empty pull-out bin is a very reasonable 27 litres in size and this should mean you don’t need to empty it too frequently. Plus, as well as paper the shredder will get through staples, credit cards and CDs/DVDs too.
The AT-18XN also benefits from a very good run time, allowing you to use the shredder for up to 25 minutes continuously before it needs to cool down. This is great in a shared busy office or when you have a bulk lot of shredding to do.
Other features include: jam-resistant technology to help reduce paper jams; an energy-saving mode to help cut power consumption levels; auto stop on bin full and bin removal; a viewing window in the bin so you can see how full it is; and castors so the shredder can be easily wheeled around.
