The Ativa AT-16X is a cross-cut desk side shredder, suitable for frequent large volume shredding. It can handle up to 16 sheets at a time and has a P-4 security level rating which makes it ideal for highly confidential office shredding.
The AT-16X shreds paper into particles 4 x 25mm and it can also get through staples, paperclips, credit cards and CDs – very handy in a work environment where you might want to shred a variety of materials.
The shredder also comes with a host of features including: auto start and stop; reverse option; finger safe technology; safety cut-out on bin removal; auto stop on bin full; thermal overload protection; and jam protection. In addition to this, the Ativa At-16X is mounted on castors which means it is easy to move around the office, if needed.
Waste bin size is a very reasonable 25.7 litres and the bin is a pull-out style for easy, quick emptying.
The shredder also boasts quiet operation thanks to its 68 dB noise level.
Warranty on this shredder is 2 years for the machine and 5 years for the cutters.
