Built for occasional home use, the Fellowes Powershred DS-700C Cross-Cut Shredder will shred up to 7 sheets of 70gsm paper at a time. It shreds these into 4mm x 46mm cross-cut particles, giving the shredder a P-3 security rating (suitable for the shredding of confidential documents).
As well as paper, you can also shred staples and small paperclips, saving you the time of having to remove these prior to shredding. If you have old bank or store cards the shredder will also shred these too.
For safety, the Fellowes DS-700C comes with a patented lock which disables the shredder to prevent accidental activation, particularly useful if you have small children or pets in the house.
Paper entry width is 225mm for A4 paper shredding and you can shred for up to 5 minutes non-stop before the shredder needs a 20 minute cool down period.
A reverse option is included in case you need to clear any paper jams and the shredder has a 10 litre pull-out bin with viewing window so you can see when it is getting full.
Warranty on the Fellowes Powershred DS-700C Cross-Cut Shredder is 1 year for the machine and 3 years for the cutters.
