The Fellowes Powershred P-48C is a cross-cut shredder, suitable for home or small office use. It shreds up to 8 sheets of 70gsm paper at a time into particles of 4 x 50mm, giving it a P-3 security rating (ideal for the shredding of confidential documents).
The shredder has a sturdy design and due to its short height dimension will fit easily under a desk.
Features-wise, it comes with a safety lock which means it can be disabled when needed, good if you have pets or small children around. It also has a reverse feature to help you clear any paper jams.
The Fellowes P-48C will shred staples and paper clips in addition to paper - meaning you don’t have to spend time prepping your documents before shredding. Plus it also allows you to shred old credit cards too.
The waste bin has an 18 litre capacity and an easy to lift-off head, providing hassle-free emptying. You can also see when it needs emptying, thanks to the cut-out window on the side of the shredder.
