Recommended for light, personal use the Fellowes Powershred M-3C Cross-Cut Shredder can shred up to 6 sheets of 70gsm paper at a time. The shredder has a P-4 security rating so is suitable for your highly confidential document shredding - and it will shred paper into particles measuring 4 x 35mm.
The 11 litre bin has a lift-off head - and it also has a handy viewing window so you can see when the shredder is getting full and needs to be emptied.
The Fellowes M-3C saves you time too as it will get through staples and small paperclips - so there is no need to remove these prior to shredding. Credit cards can also be shredded.
For safety, there is a lock mechanism on the shredder so that it doesn’t get accidentally activated. Plus, it will only operate if the lift-off head is in the correct position.
The shredder has a 220mm paper width (for A4 shredding) and it also comes with a reverse function to help clear any paper jams. An overheat indicator alerts you to when the shredder is getting too hot - and you can shred for up to 3 minutes continuously before a 30 minute cool down period is triggered.
Fellowes recommend a non-aerosol vegetable oil when it comes to oiling the shredder (e.g. Fellowes code 35250). As a rough guide, consider oiling your shredder every time you empty the bin.
Warranty on the Fellowes Powershred M-3C Cross-Cut Shredder is 1 year for the machine and 3 years for the cutting blades.
