The Rexel Officemaster SC170 Ribbon-Cut Shredder takes up to 12 sheets of 80gsm paper at a time and has a P-2 security rating, shredding material into 6mm wide strips. It is suitable for everyday non-confidential office shredding.
The shredder features a uniquely angled head so that paper can be fed into it while it sits under a desk, ideal for an office environment. It also has a very reasonably sized 22 litre pull out bin which can hold up to 200 sheets of shredded paper.
The Rexel SC170 accepts staples and paperclips so saves you the time of having to remove these before shredding. It will also shred credit cards.
Other features of the Rexel SC170 include a safety lock; auto start and reverse function; thermal cut-off if the shredder has been running for too long and is danger of overheating; a see through window so you know when to empty the waste bin; and an easy lift handle.
