The Rexel Mercury RSS2434 Strip-Cut Shredder is ideal for a small office with up to 10 users. Providing everyday DIN level P-2 security, this shredder shreds your papers into 5.8mm wide strips.
With a large shredding sheet capacity of up to 25 sheets at a time (70gsm paper - or 24 sheets if it is 80gsm paper), this shredder also shreds staples and paperclips, meaning you don’t have to spend your time removing these prior to shredding. In addition, this machine allows you to shred old bank cards and CDs/DVDs that you want to securely destroy too
The 34 litre pull-out bin can take up to 265 shredded sheets and is easy to empty. Plus, there is a handy see-through window in it so you can see how full it is getting.
Other features of the shredder include: Mercury Anti-Jam Technology (the shredder will only shred stacks of paper within its shredding capacity - sensors in the paper feed area alert you if you are trying to feed too many sheets in at a time); a 225mm (A4) paper entry width; a reverse option; a safety feature whereby the shredder automatically cuts out when the bin is open; a noise level of less than 65DBA; and bin full and overheat indicators.
Duty cycle is up to 20 minutes of continuous shredding before a cool down period of 40 minutes is required.
